Finding the right outfit to be comfortable temperature-wise all day is nearly impossible — you dress in layers for the morning chill, yet you’re sweating by the end of the working day. Ugh, life.
Engineers are catching on to this annoying dilemma — the relevant recommendations of personal temperature regulation has seriously exploded within the past time. As we saw with the Aircon personal air conditioning watch, the notion of something wearable to help govern your torso temp is starting to go mainstream.
Meet Embr Wave, the Kickstarter project for anyone who has ever been “too hot” or “too cold” in a room full of people who feel just fine.
Embr Wave looks like a super sleek watch or bracelet, but it has some insane tech behind it. At the touching of a button, the wearable device are sent to either a cooling or warming sensation through the super sensitive skin on your wrist. When those nerves feel a direct heat readjustment, a signal is submitted to your brain.
Deliveries begin in February 2018 sp say goodbye to being the cold one in a chamber full of warm people and back the Embr Wave here.
