Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ owners are about to have a much more comfortable virtual reality experience, politenes of Google.

Google’s Daydream VR platform is rolling out for Samsung’s machines, dedicating customers another selection for phone-to-face immersion to go along with Samsung’s own Gear VR platform.

Google taunted the freeing earlier this year at its I/ O event, promising that Daydream was ultimately make its lane to more telephones ahead of Android O and the new Euphrates version of the VR platform.

The Google VR twitter handle tweeted out the news, and the S8 and S8+ are now prominently featured on the Daydream web page.

Samsung already has the Gear VR platform, as we noted above, which was developed specifically for the Galaxy line with partner Oculus. The well received $129 headset and controller combo be listed in a pre-order promotion alongside the S8, so there might not be much interest for Daydream on the Samsung phones aside from the most fervent VR enthusiasts.

Google is clearly hoping that some Samsung owners have enough imagination for multiple virtual realities, however, discounting the Daydream View headset to $60 through Aug. 12 in the interests of the new compatibility, $20 off its standard $80 price tag.
