Forget everything you are familiar with the selfish bridezilla stereotype.
Women on Twitter have stepped up to help soon-to-be brides who are affected by Alfred Angelo closing. The wedding gown corporation shut 60 of its storages on Wednesday without any admonishing, before officially declaring bankruptcy on Friday.
Brides who ordered their wedding dresses through Alfred Angelo have been left with no idea of whether they’ll get their gowns.
Though the situation has been incredibly stressful and understandably upsetting, there is a positive side to the narrative. Females from all over the two countries have selflessly decided to offer up their already-worn wedding gowns to those left without a dress.
The sisterhood of the traveling gowns is in full consequence. Companies and other wedding dealers have also decided to step in and ease the stress.
Hopefully the women who ordered through Alfred Angelo will still manage to get the dreaming dress they originally craved. Either lane, it’s been exciting to see wives helping women with a gesture of kindness.
